I am an Idaho girl through and through. I was born in the small small town of Driggs, Idaho. I was raised in a very sporty family. I played volleyball, basketball, and softball from a very young age. I still coach volleyball to this day at a local high school! (go tigers!)
I am a dog mom to my pup, Wallace. He is my adventure buddy and we love to go on hikes and swim together!
I married the boy I have been obsessed with since I was 17. NO... we were not high school sweethearts... we were just friends and I was in LOVE... but it took a lot longer for Porter to figure out he loved me too;)
The thing I love the MOST about my job is meeting so many amazing couples and becoming best friends forever!
Working with me means you get a friend for life. I love shooting ALL of life's big moments... from your wedding... to your maternity or family photos... let's capture the moment!
I tell stories with my camera. If your interests include, adventures, laughing, and feeling amazingly confident... you are in the right spot! Let's capture the moment...
I wouldn't say our story falls under the category "teenage" dream... far from it actually. But the story of how I met my husband is a long and funny one... but to keep a long story short... we met on a warm summer night the summer before our junior year of high school. We had mutual friends and we were immediately drawn to each other! After a few dates, Porter GHOSTED me. (i know...the audacity) But in true high school fashion... I did nothing and moved on some shot time later. AND THEN 7 years go by... and I get a message from that boy from oh so long ago... and we set up a date. I knew from that first date... I was in trouble. Porter became my best friend instantly. And now we are on our 8th year of knowing each other... 4th year of being together... and 3rd year of marriage!
We got married the THICK of covid, so we decided on a small elopement in Bone Idaho on our family ranch. It was the most perfect day and I wouldn't change a thing about it!
This is my bestie.... Mr. Wallace otherwise known as the goodest boy in the whole world. Wallace is an English Cream Retriever. He loves everything outdoors. Hiking, swimming, hunting... he does it all. He's always down for a snuggle or a snack. His dislikes include but are not limited to... the vacuum cleaner, trimming his nails, my husbands deer heads that hang on the wall. But I love my sweet Wally boy!
"I loved working with Cami! She has a very get it done attitude but does it in a way that just seems easy. She did my engagement photos, and, for a couple who is awkward in front of the camera, she made it easy and more natural.
I then had her fly in and do my wedding. She was early to the venue and did a great job at corralling my crazy family. The rest of the ceremony, I didn’t even notice she was there. She got our photos back to us so fast (3 weeks) and got us teaser photos the morning after the wedding so we would have some to post.
I love all of the photos she captured. Absolutely all of them! It is hard trusting someone to capture your big day, but I am so glad I trusted Cami! She was worth every penny! And I highly recommend her!"
